I figure writing a blog about what I learn with economic sociology will help me 1) put into words the new concepts I'm learning and 2) force me to be regular with my reading.
I have many vague questions, and I'm having trouble making myself find the answers to them. So here's this blog, where anyone or no one can learn about economic sociology with me.
This will not be a proper academic discourse, as I am not a proper academic, only the writing of someone who's trying to digest a new subject.
My background is in economics, and the subjects I'm interested in learning more about include not only economic sociology, but also the sociology of knowledge, political sociology, science and technology studies, and historical sociology. I'm also looking forward to figuring out the differences between economic anthropology and economic sociology, so that'll be fun.
